Three things, done well
Your week, at a glance
Add each class once: days, time, room, colour. ClassPing draws your seven-day Planner with a live line showing where you are right now.
Nothing slips
Few minutes after a class ends, ClassPing asks if it came with homework, the one instant you still remember.
Reminders that reach you
A nudge before class and before work is due: in the app, by push on a locked phone, or handed to your calendar. Whatever it takes to reach you.
From syllabus to timetable
Grab your syllabi
Download the syllabus for each class from your course portal. PDFs are fine, whatever your school hands you.
Hand them to an AI
Open ChatGPT, Claude, or whichever you use. Attach the syllabi, paste the prompt below, and it gives you back a CSV.
Upload it to ClassPing
Tap Import my schedule on your empty timetable, choose Upload a schedule CSV, and check what it found before it's added.
Convert my course syllabi into a CSV for ClassPing. Output the CSV only, no explanation, no code fences. Header row, exactly: Course,Days,Start,End,Room,Instructor,Credits,Semester Start,Semester End One row per meeting pattern: - Course, the course name or code, e.g. Chem 204 - Days, letters only: M T W R (Thursday) F, combined, e.g. MWF or TR - Start, End, clock times, e.g. 9:00 AM and 10:15 AM. End must be after Start. - Room, Instructor, Credits, leave blank if the syllabus doesn't say - Semester Start, Semester End, the term's first and last day as YYYY-MM-DD, repeated on every row Rules: - A course meeting at different times on different days gets one row per pattern (lecture MWF 9:00 AM, lab W 2:00 PM = two rows). - Skip assignments, exams, office hours, and anything without both a day and a time. - Skip Saturday and Sunday meetings. - Wrap any value containing a comma in double quotes.
Does your school publish a calendar feed? Import the .ics instead and it brings your deadlines across too.
A day with ClassPing
Set up your week, once
Type in your classes, or import them from your school's calendar. That's the only setup there is.
Get pinged before class
Each class carries its own lead time, so the lecture across campus warns you earlier than the one next door.
Log homework as it's set
When a class ends, one tap captures the assignment with its due date, before it slips your mind on the walk out.
See what's still open
An end-of-day summary of what's due, so nothing waits until the morning it's due to get your attention.
Put your whole term on autopilot
Add it to your phone's home screen, install it on Windows, or just open it in your browser. It's the same ClassPing everywhere.
